MEET THE AUTHORS
KERRY FORRESTAL
In another era Dr. Kerry Forrestal might have been called a renaissance man, though now the term is ADHD. In addition to this inaugural book, he has written a play with his co-author, and is working on another book about how to manage a new cancer diagnosis. A graduate of Binghamton University, he received a Bachelor of Science degree (Biology; Psychology) and a Masters Degree in Business Administration (Marketing). In 2001 he graduated from the State University of New York at Stony Brook with a Medical Doctorate and now works as a board certified physician in Emergency Medicine. He is committed to service to others and his 17 years in volunteer EMS included one project that helped to start South Africa 's first volunteer Ambulance corps in Hout Bay, which will be celebrating it's 25th year soon. As a physician he has made several trips to Haiti on medical mission trips and serves as the Ambassador to Ireland for ACEP. He teaches frequently and has been on Faculty at the University of Maryland Eastern Shore a Land Charter Historically Black University. Kerry proudly served for 6 years in the 106th Air Rescue Wing of New York's Air National Guard and was honorably discharged as a Captain. In his spare time he enjoys woodworking, sailing, computer gaming, theatre, travel and (on occasion) sleep. Most importantly he is husband to the ever tolerant Shannon, his wife of 15 years and two amazing daughters Sarah and Riley. |
